I dig this. Expressive linework, excellent use of shadows, and a genuinely well-conveyed tone really work towards putting you into the narrative. I'd love to see more.

This is coming along nice! I love the variety of angles; my only critic would be to spend a bit more time on the faces. I look forward to seeing more!

All the feedback's welcome cheers - have prepped [5] and will look to upload snapshot [4] shortly. Hopefully the fact that each snapshot isnt directly linked to the previous isn't a turnoff, though we'll start to see how they tie in a bit later...

I look forward to seeing the next one. This kind of reminds me of the recently released Comic Book Tattoo.

The low rez when on full screen is not helping. Please reload with a higher rez. So far I think its got potential.

I like the art, but the story is.... where? The random statement style storytelling never really does it for me.

Peebo: Cheers for the comment - the artwork is currently 1000 x 600 px, I'll look at increasing the rez

Gozer: Point re:Lack of story. I've specifically set it up as a set of snaphots, for the inital 8, that seem to have no connection. There is a danger in trying to be too clever with hiding information, b with this story the city is an important part

I've just uploaded [6], which introduces part of the Marks family and [7/8] will deal with the main story directly.
